Abstract27
Hello, I'm Jérémie Raude-Leroy
Founder of Abstract27, a French web design agency in London, and of Français à Londres. I build, host and maintain Ghost websites for freelancers, charities, schools and media outlets — in both French and English.
I founded Abstract27 and Français à Londres. From London, I design, host and maintain websites built on Ghost for freelancers, charities, schools and media outlets — in both French and English.
From a youth hostel to two businesses
I'm originally from Seine-et-Marne and arrived in London in 2009, aged 25, to improve my English. Three months later, I was working in a youth hostel; before long, I was running four of them.
I then set up my first business: pub crawls. I negotiated prices with pubs and got my customers into London clubs for £10. That's where I learnt how to build websites and run a business — including the hard way, when a former employee set up in competition with me.
Lesson learnt, I started afresh: a classifieds forum for French people in London. It became Français à Londres.
Français à Londres: my own media outlet, built on Ghost
When Covid forced many traditional media outlets to close, I turned the forum into a weekly publication for French speakers in the UK: news seen from a British perspective, classified ads, a directory of French-speaking professionals, events and guided tours.
It's now a community of over 45,000 members, with a newsletter every Friday — all built on Ghost. Everything I recommend to my clients, I use myself every week on a live media outlet.
Abstract27: what I do for you
While building Français à Londres, I realised I could build websites for people less comfortable with the technical side. Abstract27 was born from that — and has since helped create over 50 websites.

How I work
- One single point of contact, from quote to maintenance. You deal with me, not a queue of tickets.
- French and English. Many of my clients speak to both audiences; bilingual websites are my daily bread and butter.
- Everything belongs to you. Your website, your content, your subscriber list — on open-source software, with no lock-in.
- You stay independent. I train you to publish on your own, and I remain easy to reach whenever you need a hand.
