Websites, usually bilingual, for French and French-speaking people living abroad — freelancers, associations, schools, elected councillors and community media.

Abstract27 builds and runs websites for French and French-speaking people living outside France: freelancers, associations, schools, elected councillors and community media. Most of these sites are bilingual, French and the language of the country you live in. We are a French web agency based in London, and we work by video call with French speakers wherever they are.

What a French-speaking expat website needs

    • Two languages, properly linked. A language switcher on every page, and each page paired with its translation so Google shows French speakers the French version and everyone else the English one.
    • Someone who speaks your language. You explain your project in French, and we answer in French — calls, emails and changes.
    • A newsletter to your community, sent from the site, in one or both languages. The subscriber list stays yours.
    • Memberships, sign-ups and events for associations, schools and networks: a members area, online payment and a calendar.
    • Credibility in your host country. A clear, fast site in the local language, with the privacy notice and consent that UK GDPR and the EU GDPR require.
    • A site that keeps up after you move. It is hosted and run for you, so a new committee, a new city or a busy season does not leave it out of date.

    Who we build for

    • Freelancers and small businesses who work with French speakers and with locals: a professional site in both languages, with booking or a contact form.
    • Associations and expat networks: welcome groups, alumni, chambers, clubs — members, events, a directory and a newsletter.
    • French schools and parent associations: term dates, enrolment, news for families who read French, English or both.
    • Elected councillors and community media: a campaign or news site that reaches French speakers living in your district.

    Wherever you live

We are based in London, where we built every site below. We work the same way for French speakers anywhere: a video call at a time that suits your time zone, a beta site you check online, and a price paid in pounds or euros.

Built on Ghost, open-source software you own

Every site we build runs on Ghost®, the open-source publishing platform. The editor is as simple as writing an email, the newsletter is built in, pages load fast, and your content and subscriber list can be exported at any time — nothing is locked in. Ghost is the only platform we build on.

    What we have built

    Price

A managed website costs £25 a month in one language or £40 a month bilingual: design and build, hosting, security updates, daily backups, newsletter and content changes on request. No setup fee, first version as fast as you need it (the same day if urgent, otherwise within a week), cancel any time. See plans and pricing. Most expat sites take the bilingual plan, at £40 a month.

    How it works

    1. Free call. You tell us about your organisation and what the site must do; we tell you exactly what we would build.
    2. A first version as fast as you need it. We adapt to you: the same day if it is urgent, otherwise within a week. We set up your pages, newsletter and forms. If you prefer, we build it first on a beta site of ours: you check that everything works, and only when it suits you do we move it to your official domain, safely.
    3. We run it for you. Hosting, updates, backups and changes on request are included. You publish when you want, we handle the rest. We adapt to what you need — our client reviews say so.

    Frequently asked questions

Do I need my site in both languages?

Not always. If your clients or members all read French, one language is enough. If you also want to reach locals, or to be found on Google in the local language, take the bilingual plan.

    Who translates the texts?

The texts stay yours: you provide both versions, or work with the translator of your choice. We lay out each language, link every page to its twin and set up search engine optimisation for each one.

    One domain or two?

Both work. Most often we put the second language in a folder of the same domain (yoursite.com/fr/); the Dispensaire Français uses a sub-domain for each language. We advise you on the first call.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?

Yes. Everything happens by video call and email, at a time that suits your time zone. Our case studies are in London because that is where we started.

In which currency do I pay?

In pounds or in euros, by card, monthly or yearly.

What our clients say about working with Abstract27: websites designed, built and run for them.

Jérémy is a professional who listens, is responsive, and always offers sound advice. He brought my design to life, respecting my wishes down to the smallest detail, while finding simple and effective solutions so I can easily manage my website. Always available and incredibly patient, he truly takes the time to help and find solutions. It's a real pleasure to work with him, and I recommend him without hesitation!

    Valérie A. · ★★★★★ · October 2026 · Google review

Working with Abstract was one of the best professional decisions I made to boost my online presence and digital prospecting efforts. I initially built my website on Webflow, but I quickly realized that I wouldn't be able to easily manage updates because the system is complex… whereas with Abstract, it's very intuitive… a breeze. Jérémie did an exceptional job giving the site the look and feel I envisioned. He also gave me invaluable advice on streamlining and optimizing the customer experience. I'm thrilled: I'm autonomous, efficient, and well-structured.

    Anne V. · ★★★★★ · October 2026 · Google review

I contacted Jérémie and Abstrat27 to create the website for my financial education platform. I had a specific set of requirements: to translate the brand strategy and graphic charter developed beforehand, to secure the content, especially the paid courses, while retaining full ownership of my content, and above all, to have a user-friendly website that I could easily update as I produced new content (I'm completely unfamiliar with computers). They succeeded! The website accurately reflects my vision, and I have complete autonomy to update it as my content evolves. I'm truly delighted with the result, and a huge thank you to Jérémie, who guided me and kept me focused on all my requirements. I highly recommend them!

    anais S. · ★★★★★ · September 2026 · Google review

We used Abstrat27 to set up our website using Ghost and couldn't be happier. Jérémie really listened to what we needed, understood our vision and came up with great advice. From start to full migration, everything was handled efficiently. We love how easy it is to manage the website by ourselves now, which was exactly what we wanted. On top of that, Jérémie is incredibly available and explains everything clearly. Very professional, reliable and genuinely helpful! Highly recommend!

    Club P. · ★★★★★ · March 2026 · Google review

I’d been using WordPress for years, but wanted something lighter and more modern. Jeremie handled the entire migration to Ghost, and honestly, he did an outstanding job. Everything went smoothly from start to finish — he was professional, responsive, and really listened to what I needed. I’m genuinely happy with the result. Ghost is a fantastic platform — clean, fast, and enjoyable to use — and Jeremie’s work made all the difference. I’d absolutely recommend him!

    French A. · ★★★★★ · July 2025 · Google review

I would like to commend Jérémie Raude-Leroy for his remarkable commitment and expertise in managing our cultural and predictive platform, APAR.TV. His responsiveness and unparalleled guidance enabled a lightning-fast transition from our WordPress infrastructure to Ghost. Jérémie brilliantly orchestrated the migration of thousands of author accounts while simultaneously resetting all of our email accounts. Thanks to his expertise and professionalism, Jérémie not only met our expectations but exceeded them, delivering exemplary service. For all these reasons, we extend our sincerest thanks and affirm that he deserves our complete and unwavering trust.

    Aurélien A. · ★★★★★ · June 2025 · Google review

Thank you Jeremie Raude-Leroy and Abstract27 - London Web Agency for the introduction to the Ghost #opensource solution and the help with creating and hosting our new website! It is a fantastic milestone for www.airc.digital in sharing our #openbim philosophy with the world!

    Pierre S. · ★★★★★ · June 2024 · Google review

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because the website Abstract27 made for me definitely is something else. I didn't know Ghost CMS at first and I was a bit skeptical. But I decided to take the leap of faith and oh boy was I positively surprised. Everything was done for me and the team even helped me customize the website. I've created dozens of WordPress website in the past but none matched Ghost CMS in terms of performance, ease of use and design. Thank you!!

    Ayoub O. · ★★★★★ · May 2024 · Google review

I had been hosting my website on blogger and had been wanting to migrate to a fast, modern and mobile friendly platform for a while. Jérémie managed to convince me to make the move and I’m very happy he did. The result is stunning, SEO friendly and easy to maintain. And on top of that the ongoing hosting fees are very reasonable (actually cheaper than on Ghost Pro).
